Senator Baldwin Supports Introduction of Safe Gun Storage Act

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin cosponsored legislation that was introduced today that would direct the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) to establish safety standards for firearm locks and firearm safes.

“We should put in place federal safety standards for firearm locks and safes so that we can help keep guns out of the hands of children,” said Senator Baldwin. “This legislation can help prevent deadly accidents from happening and save lives.”
