Digital and Press Fellow - Washington, D.C.

The Office of U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin is seeking a paid Digital and Press Fellow to support the communications team in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The fellow will support the press team, including but not limited to managing press lists, drafting releases, monitoring media, and clipping and captioning news coverage. The fellow will also help execute the office’s digital strategy, including developing and editing social media copy, graphics, and video. Qualified applicants should have experience using common graphic design and video editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, strong writing and verbal communications skills, and the ability to stay organized while managing multiple projects. Candidates must be detail-oriented, proactive, and team-focused. Applicants with Wisconsin ties are preferred. The fellowship is a one-year term.

Staff Assistant - Washington, D.C.

The Office of U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin is seeking a Staff Assistant in the Washington, D.C. office. This position is responsible for answering constituent phone calls, welcoming visitors, assisting with processing constituent mail and assisting the mail operation, with other duties as assigned.

Ideal candidates will have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; be organized, service oriented, and collaborative; thrive in a high-energy, high-paced environment; and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
